Comparison of the effectiveness of individual schema therapy with and without supportive therapy in reducing the symptoms of patients with borderline personality disorder

Introduction: Borderline personality disorder is a type of mental health problem, which affects the patient’s way thinking and feeling about oneself others causes problems in daily functioning. Aim: This study aimed to compare effectiveness individual schema therapy, with without supportive alleviating symptoms patients borderline disorder. Method: empirical semi-experimental study, pretest-posttest control group design, was conducted on statistical population, consisting all disorder, referred Quds Hospital Sanandaj, Iran, during 2020-2021. Via convenience sampling, 45 were selected divided into three groups 15 people. Weaver Clum’s Personality Disorder Severity Index (1993) used for data collection. To analyze data, multivariate analysis variance t-test performed SPSS Version 22. Results: The results showed significant difference between two (P≤0.01).
